Woofy's Brewery is a small-batch craft brewery based in a converted dairy in Strangford, Herefordshire, brewed and bottle-conditioned by hand using quality hops, malts and carefully sourced ingredients — our spent grain even feeds the local goat herd! Beyond the beer, we're a close-knit community: our 'Woofy's Collective' of family and friends have helped build every part of this business, and that same warmth and care goes into our award-winning range (three Great Taste Awards since 2023), from crisp session IPAs and Czech-style pilsners to rich porters, stouts and seasonal ales.

The Woofy's Collective
Family and Friends form the ‘Woofy’s Collective’ and are at the heart of our brand, including everyone who has helped and continues to help us build our lovely craft brewing business, here in our beautiful corner of Herefordshire.
From graphic design, to setting up our payments, installing the electrics, to seeing in our bottle delivery, collecting the spent grain for the local farm to hand filling 1000’s of bottles as well as making up all the boxes by hand, we have a close a trusted ‘collective’ with whom we love to work. And the bonus is that we love to make a beer for them and they get the first samples! We thank them for their time, creativity, care and support - our Woofy’s Collective, our little community.
The Brewing Process
The process begins with carefully selecting premium malted barley, which is mashed with hot water to extract sugars. During the boiling phase, hops are added for bitterness and aroma, while our head brewer may introduce additional flavours like spices, fruits, or herbs to create complexity and then fine-tuning the combination to achieve the perfect balance of flavours
After cooling, yeast ferments the sugars into alcohol. The beer is then conditioned, allowing these flavours to harmonize, resulting in a well-crafted and distinctive brew.

We’re dedicated to producing high-quality beers. In 2023 our Milestone Porter and Aston Ale were honoured with Great Taste Awards, recognizing the craftsmanship behind each brew.
Sparky's Wit also earned this prestigious award in 2024. Our passion for brewing shines through in every bottle.
